Yellow-Orange Canna Lily
Yellow-Orange Canna Lily, 14x11
The other day, I fixed a simple arrangement from my backyard, and I fell in love with it. It screamed at me to paint it. I was going to get right on it then I realized that the painting that was on my easel couldn't be moved. It was a commissioned piece, and was on a gallery wrapped canvas that was very wet. I had painted 3 of the sides, and I couldn't pick it up.
I tried to move on to other things, but this floral kept pulling me back in. Out of desperation, I got out my plein air easel and got to work. (Actually, I was really glad I thought about this alternative.) Anyway, 20 days later, I've finished it! At least I think I have. What do you think? I'd love your input. Just hit reply and let me know.
Also, I'd love to know how you're doing. I hope you're finding ways to add some peace and joy to your life.
All my best,
@AnneLittleDavis
